Impressions de France offers you music from a truly delicious and fertile period for French music. Harpist Caroline Leonardelli and mezzo-soprano Julie Nesrallah present the pieces with stories about the composers’ love lives, their personalities, as well personal anecdotes, and paint pictures about what they’re about to hear. Impressions de France is about recreating a relaxed French salon musical experience filled with stories complementing the beauty and emotion behind each song, bringing each piece to life in an immediate way.
